Getting Answers

  • The CUworld Message Board:  We strongly encourage everyone to make use of the CUworld Community Message Boards.  It is a great place to get help, make suggestions, leave messages for your friends, etc.  You will often the find answers to your technical and not-so-technical questions already posted here.

  • CUworld Helpers: CUworld Helpers are members of the CUworld community who have extensive knowledge of CUworld and CUseeMe and have made themselves available on a volunteer basis to help fellow CUworld members.

    • If you see a user with a CUworld Helper icon next to their name, you are welcome to ask them any question related to use of the CUworld.com web site and service. Questions relating to setup, configuration, how to use features and appropriate CUworld etiquette are all good questions to ask your CUworld Helper.

    • CUworld Helpers will not be able to answer any questions related to CUworld.com policy, terms of use or billing. CUworld helpers are volunteers and do not represent CUworld.com management.

  • Community Monitors:  CUworld Community Monitors are CUworld Users that have volunteered to assist the CUworld Administrators in ensuring that CUworld is a fun and safe place to come and chat.

    • Monitors have the ability to "suspend" a person's account for varying lengths of time.  They can recommend further actions by the Administrators, if they feel this is necessary.

    • Monitors cannot be "zapped" in a User Created Public Room

    • Monitors cannot enter a User Created Private Room unless they have been given the password.

    • CUworld Monitors will not be able to answer any questions related to CUworld.com policy, Terms of Use or billing. CUworld Monitors are volunteers and do not represent CUworld.com management.

  • Administrators:  CUworld Administrators ("Admins") are members of the CUworld Team.  The Admins visit the rooms and the Message Board regularly to respond to questions, accept feedback, and review how the rooms are being used.

    • Admins have the ability to "suspend" a person's account for varying lengths of time, or to completely deny access to the site.

    • Admins cannot be "zapped" in a User Created Public Room

    • As a general principle, Admins will not enter User Created Private Rooms unless they have been specifically invited.  However, CUworld Administrators do reserve the right to enter any room at any time if violations of the Terms of Use are suspected.
